Camino 2017 And the walls came tumblin down
This was the last day of walking. I got silly right after this picture and strained my shin bone. Continued walking but by the end of the day I was a cripple. The other r&r was required. Ro even hand delivered the food.

Camino R&R 2017 Fellowship
After staying in Zubiri we headed to Pamplona (Running of the Bulls town). But you walk by an old church that is being worked on so we decided to stay and help for a day. Dorothea (90 years old) her daughter and a stoic lady who was the
hardest working lady I've ever seen (she explained in Germany that's what you do...work work work!) helped uncovering the original Camino path that of course went right by this old church. The owner Neill, his wife and their little one are on a life mission to save The Abbey.

2017 Camino R&R. Revered spot to Roncesvillas
The trees just before you end the trail for the day are so cool. Tall, lean and aplenty.
This is where I pause to honor little Nathan who died at childbirth.
Remember that picture of Ro hiding behind a table full of gluten-free food? Hence the shoulder protectors. The pack weighed waaayy too much (reference other picture of Ro with her astounded look). We fixed the problem. Gave it all the heave ho down a forest embankment and proceeded to get day packs and have our backpacks forwarded ahead. She’s such a cutie.
