Lucky you,the cathederal was covered with scaffolding when I was there :(
Pilar is close,right after Astorga, and make sure you arrive with an appetite-that lady can cook !!!
FYI-that's a vino "bodega" (a sod covered cave),where they store wine :)I saw alot of them in the next wine region you will be walking thru.
