As I go thru my plan for the day, I am thinking of my fellow pilgrims who I know will not be reading this post right away. Why? Because, they are in training and already have hit their home trails before the heat of the day gets unbearable. So to you, cheers and hurrahs. You're almost done. Hang in there.
My list consists of work to do's (of course) and watching the Olympics. I feel a kindred spirit with them. I look forward to watching their goals be tested. God bless America.

You are so right about getting out there early.....I went out at 6:30 and did the bridge and the beach and had breakfast on the pier overlooking the surfers....."What a country" as Yakov Smirnoff says.
I'm just not a early walker, so my goal for the last two weeks of training is to start walking in the early morning.
How early, I'll see.
dang you guys wake up early 5:00am!
I guess I have to get use to it for the camino.
Oh fun!!!!!!!!!!
My PCR wake up call!!!!!!!!!
