We're sitting outside the private refugio we opened after we all retired and moved to Spain. I'm telling a group of young American pilgrims about our walk in 2008 when we did all 450 miles in 31 days!! They are fasinated with the tale and can't believe we did it with walking- the current mode of travel being personal hover craft! They are all equally interested in Liz's knitting, a completely foreign craft to them. As to Rose and Marian's ice cream cones- they just want to know where you can find one on the
camino!!
The camino story I read that was written by a husband and wife mentioned ice cream as dessert several times. It was that pilgrim meal that's offered where you get three things to eat. What do they call it Fran?
