Do I just clean the water camelbak with hot water?
Sudsy hot water.
YOou can also put a drop of bleach in it with water to swish around.
Also, when you get home and empty it, do you blow the tube dry?
Fran, Happy 35th Anniversary! I,m glad for your time in St. Louis ... hope your cold's better...Rose, your vidios are a hoot! I'm googling quotes and this one is too long to go on the paper but I thought it good: Ralph Waldo Emerson: "Few people know how to take a walk. The qualifications are: endurance,plain clothes,old shoes,an eye for nature,good humor,vast curiosity,good speech,good silence,and nothing too much."
JoJo-absolutely love the Emerson quote. Marian-beats me. I just threw away the whole thing because I never "got to it" when I got home. It was nasty.
Marian. Am I suppose to do this every day?
Yes, we should blow out the tube everytime that you use it. And the bleach thing is just once in a while to clean it. The guy that bought my camelbak is a bike rider and he told me about the spoon of bleach every once in a while.
I think I'll do it before we leave on Thursday, just to get it all cleaned out....I haven't done that part before because I've blown it out every time and it dries just fine.
