Goat-Good morning to you!! I'm heading out for my last walk in AZ. leave tomorrow morning. Went to REI and scored converter pants (to shorts with zip), hat,socks blister RX, vest and an iddy-biddy deck of cards!! Note- you should become a professional blogger!! You make me LOL and PIM pants- Love ya!!!!

You're 5:09AM is 6:09 here and I was already up and getting water into my backpack so I could walk early today. I'm getting the hang of this getting up in the middle of the night to beat the heat stuff. Can't say I love it, but it's not bad.
Fran, sounds like you hit the jackpot. I walked on Saturday in my new converter pants and love them because they have pockets to conveniently hold my camera and iPod.
I am feeling just like Rosie....I'm done with this training.....I want to go!!
Speaking of pockets in pants, I weighed the stuff I'm putting in mine and it's 2#. I feel like Captain Kangaroo.
