Coincidence?

When a pilgrim starts the Camino de Santiago they each get their "Credencial del Peregrino".
It's your individual passport of where you go each day while you're on the Camino (the trail).
Each place you stay at they stamp your credencial. The stamp shows the name of the town and the date they stamped it. Just like a passport does.

I pulled my credencial out from 4 years ago to see when we went. We started September 23 and we walked for three weeks. Interesting, I thought. Starting earlier and going longer this time. But then I noticed the map on the flip side of the credencial that shows the various routes (caminos) in Spain that get you to Santiago.

The one we take ( northern spain/Roncesvalles to Santiago) is called "Camino Frances". Who started this whole thing? Frances. Who spends countless hours planning and lining up travel arrangements (hotels, airfare, trainfare, scheduling etc etc)? Frances. Who is a lover of all things adventurous and earthy? Frances.

Coincidence. I think not.

There are no coincidences in this world. There are only blessings and you all are part of my blessings. Love ya.
