A journal of 4 sisters taking a 5 week walking pilgrimage through Spain. Preparation, planning, execution, insights, and much more. Check in on their journey.
What exactly was the problem? Did it not count the steps at all, did it count too many? If you wore it on your hip, I'm guessing there may have been an extra bump with the pack. Just my thought.
Most decent pedometers will allow for different length in strides. They ask you to walk and measure the length and then enter it in. Your stride is probably different from the average preset stride because you walk with the pack.
I'm not sure about the time issue. I'm curiously how the unit calculates time if it does not have a clock on it.

It showed the incorrect total time I was walking/total distance.

I've tried several pedometers and never had any reliable data. Just
keep on putting one foot in front of the other and march on!!!!!
