Almost Estella

Don´t know the name of the town so this will have to do. We´re staying for the night at this wonderful albergue (hotel) that has free internet. I´m listening to Bach in the background. The place is owned by this nice young Spanish fellow who is being so kind to us. Only 8 euros.A

We read a couple of the notes all of you sent us each day. THANK YOU. You cannot believe how they have so far been so appropriate for the day.....Like yesterday the note was from Joe Zeets and it said ¨Live, laugh, love and take a shower occasionally¨. Boy did we need that laugh. The first two days were hard ones and the day we pulled Joe´s note we had our ¨short¨ day to rest up and take really long showers. And the shower head had water coming out of all kinds of places (intentionally). Lizzy said ¨I´m in heaven¨. All of us pilgrims were kind of in a state of shock that such a nice place was for us pilgrims to use. Of course our bunks were down in the bowels of the hotel in the basement with no air conditioning and the STUPID people who talked and talked until 11pm so no one could get to sleep were there BUT you have to have some not so nice stuff for that price. The refugio only cost 7 euros.

Hopefully everyone is following along with the pictures on the camino site because I haven´t figured out the picture thing. I can´t believe the scenery we´re going thru...but of course with it comes lots and lots of rocks and inclines. We make a good team because everyone is having a blast.
