When I think about walking the Camino for the third time , the first thing that popped into my head was "One, two, three strikes you're out..........." . I don't even like baseball, but that song made me think of why I want to do this physically challenging march across Northern Spain AGAIN! George has asked me that repeatedly to the point I questioned my reason for going. I'm not getting any younger and my body reminds me of that often, but the answer is simple-
This time I will not strike out- I will retrace my previous footsteps, and then some ,with three women I love and can't wait to hang out with for five weeks. We will have lots of good times and our share of crappy weather,so-so food and cramped , noisy accomodations - but when we reach Santiago we will have all scored a HOME-RUN!!
