We are in Belorado waiting for the autobus that will take us into Burgos(30km) where we will spend several days giving our feet and spirits a rest!!!! Still on a day-by-day schedule. We walk, rest, eat, and laugh when the mood strikes the team!! It has been bitter cold today- only 39 degrees when we got up from our comfy bunk beds in a large refugio. Our pace this morning has been slow and casual as we stroll from one cafe to the next in search of the perfect cup of cafe con leche before our autobus arrives. Aside from walking the final 100km. into Santiago, we have no definite plans.
Burgos is a large city with lots to see and do. A magnificent Gothic cathederal, museums and fine food await us there. A room with a bathtub is also mandatory- and we plan on finding a laundramat so we can REALLY get our clothes clean- handwashing sucks!
We will hopefully be able to post pics and make phone calls in Burgos.

Good mornin Pilgrim...my (JAP)friend(on the inside)Decided to take a break?. Bugros sounds like a great place and taking the bus is even greater...I think those tootsies need a well deserved rest!!!Sure do miss ya.Enjoy these days and KEEP WARM!!!

No calls for over a week. It's really only been two days since they blogged. They were taking a bus and site seeing so they may be having too much fun. :)
