Liz was first to get the bug Thursday night and was out for the day, so we taxied to Coto (outside of Palas de Rei) where we had stayed at a pension. The owner took good care of the sickie with lemon water and into bed. Friday night Rose got the bug so she´s in bed now while me and Fran blog away. I´m fine now it was just a 24 hour bug. Fran is healthy.
Tomorrow we plan on walking to Arca if we all feel good. And then Monday is SANTIAGO!!!!!!!!!!
Fran here- Hope to stay away from the intestinal bug that has hit Liz and Rose. My knee has appreciated the days off however. The weather is gorgeous (rain forcasted for tomorrow) and the town is big enough to have a Church, supermarket, cafes and places to explore. We are taking each day and dealing with it. Haven't had to use our sleeping bags for three nights- clean, fresh linen to snuggle into!
We are so looking forward to arriving in Santiago, and the nearer we get the more crowded the Camino is - constant stream of pilgrims on the trail, and lots of large groups.
We will try and post pics if Rose feels better this afternoon(she is our Tech-Mama ).
Can't wait to see all of you in a few days!!!!!!!!!
Love,
Fran and Liz

Oh, what a bummer. I hope Goat is well soon. I'm so proud of her for taking on the role of tech mama. Guess I had to get it from somewhere. :)
We're counting down the days until we see you.
Love you.
Annie Bannannie, you can´t believe how long it took me to post the 10 pictures. I had to delete 1,440 of them to get 60 I wanted to post, then got rattled when the line started forming to use the computer so had to bail out. I AM NOT tech at all! I feel better. I haven´t got sick like that for like 25 years...have I Rog?
Hope that by the time you see this, you have gotten back on the road to wellness and are on your final approach to SANTIAGO!!
Be well and love to all.
Mariann
Nope, we never made it back on the trail. Liz got ill Thursday nite, Rose Friday nite and Fran Saturday. But Fran has a fever so she´s still down.
