Fran
Mountains, cities, gravel paths, rocks, riverbed, pastures, etc. etc. The LOS are walking them all!!!!!! We have completed our fourth day of hiking the Camino and each will share with all of you our individual thoughts and experiences.
Fran will start by reassuring all we are healthy and happy. The terrain has been the biggest challenge- mountains, loose stones on steep decents, steep accents in the brutal sun.. Every muscle, joint, fiber of our being aches like never before.

answers to your notes we´ve read so far , oh this is liz answering these questions right now. Im the keeper of the notes.Vinnie, yes we finished 50 beers . kathy, we had the wine in the limo to the airport to ohare. Joann- any dead man passés or tampon beaches , no Terra Ferma became Firma Terra , Fran did that slip. Mary Lou, yesterday we read two notes from you , the sing songs day on Monday morning , sang we are family ,here comes the sun- you take the high road I´ll take the low road. when johnny comes marching home, ole ole ole (like at a soccer game), Sound off, one, two (like in the army), a hunting we will go, follow the yellow brick road.
Goat
And yes, Noodle dogs definitely woof woof and the cats are here. I´ve been taking pictures (250 so far). We have found out already what are strong points are. Ninny (Lizzy) is keeper of the notes and evil detector. Fran is tour guide, blister master and ¨"losing" master, Marian is translator, navigator and the owner of her own "Marian´s Injury List", Rose is trail blazer and photographer.
If we figure out how to do pictures, we will load a few up. The weather is wonderful. The people are so kind. The food is yummmy. And everyone´s training paid off. No one is hurting at all (except for a few minor "injuries" namely, bunged up with scratches leg, thistle bits, multiple blisters and forearm hemotoma. But everything else works swell...all our legs and muscles are fantastic.
We´ve done 13.75 miles first day, 10.5 second, 12.5 third and this day 3.75 so we can blog and relax. We went thru the mountains before and after Pamplona in the Navarra region. Grueling but gorgeous.
The games we play are many. Who can guess the time we´ll arrive in the next town, it¨s......good (like in that commercial with the two ladies who have their feet up after a wedding), what kind of ice cream do you want at the end of the day, how many steps to the top of the hill, can you find a rock that looks like a state or an animal.
The days are long. Up at 6 and lights out at 10pm. We start walking at 7 but we stop and smell the roses often. Pamplona was a great town. Lizzy had an unbelievable ephiphany in Pamplona that had to do with Nick. And because of it she was lead to what she needed in the next town.
Mariann
The whole experience has been beyond anything imaginable....many "leaky eye" moments for me. Thanks to all for your thoughts and prayers because contrary to what Goat said, everything hurts, but in a good way.
VIVA LA LOS. We love and miss you all x0

Wow, sounds like a great time. I get the feeling we won't get as many of my favorite "Fran is getting on Rosie's nerves" stories (or vice-versa) with the four of you. Love you all, Joe
